Congratulations to Virginia.
Some excellent games, and some extraordinary managerial decisions by their manager. He pushed all the right buttons.
Gotta say though, I don't like the pace of those games. Mostly Virginia's fault. Perhaps intentional. Bush league, in my opinion.
Secondly Virginia's popup slides in double play opportunities at 2nd are dangerous. If I were vanderbilt, I would throw the ball right through their heads.
Looks like to me, a clear attempt at obstruction. Not sure what the college rule is, but this is dangerous and tacky in my opinion.
Nonetheless, congratulations to Virginia. Great series.
