The University of Northern Carolina stinks. In the third

Post by oaktonhokie »

quarter when there was a poorly thrown pass to cam Phillips that was incomplete, the defensive back from Northern Carolina was woofing at Phillips. Like he had made a play. He hadn't. And they were losing 35-0.

Northern Carolina.

I like the way we used timeouts at the end of the first half. We were only up
28–0. Needed another score before halftime.

After the game, fuente said it was personal. He did not elaborate, and the interviewer did not pursue it.

Fuente does not like fedora at all, it was personal. That pass on 4th down that we did not connect on was a great call tho

it was fun beating them to a pulp, the jawing from the heels was hilarious, that CB that was jawing like crazy is the one we knocked silly on the sideline in the fourth qtr, karma is a beatch

Interesting. It appears that some players were pissed that last time they used the weather as an excuse. But it's hard to believe there is not something beyond that at play. Oh well.

As for the personal thing, here is my guess. Fedora and UNC were bad mouthing Frank to recruits, calling him a senile old man or something similar, and Fuente found out about it. Hence, he and Bud decided a beat down was in order.

What i heard was that fedora was telling recruits' parents that as evidenced by 4-16, tech is not a safe place for their sons.
