no!!, he is green as heck and is majoring in engineering so he is going to be one busy freshman, redshirt, let him learn, see what he can do in 2019. It would be a mistake to expect him to carry the team as a tr fr.....extremely rare that a tr fr can do that

then he's not that good. Vick should have played as true freshman. that was the comparison.

Extremely rare, not impossible but no, it would be a mistake, per the film the Patterson kid is very good.....big difference between HS and college and to expect him to arrive on campus in August and learn everything and start the first game is a little much

honor court deal and the punishments are varied and not all expulsion. The athletic dept. has no influence on that board by the way.

No decision yet, rumor yesterday was he was transferrring. My pop was on the appeal board as a faculty member at VT and when I talked to him this weekend he said that this was the second time JJ has been before the honor board thing, the first time he won on appeal but per Pop during his time on the board they never had anyone win two appeals so that makes me think JJ is not going to be part of the team going foward

Correction, I am surprised, just looked at TSL and it is being reported his situation is resolved and he is on the team and in fine standing...... crisis averted apparantly
