Team USA v. Canada, Part I

Post by nolanvt »

The women play for the gold medal today and the men in the semis tomorrow. Oakton will be relieved to learn that his warrior king has bet the Prime Minister of Canada a case of beer on each game. Here's a pic I found of a couple of the USA players from a quick Google search. I can't comment on the pointedness of their knees, so I can't properly determine how good looking they are.

Seeing these ladies on the ice with their helmets and pads, it's almost tough to tell they are not men (a compliment to their play, not a criticism of their looks).
With their Cap’n and Chief Intelligence Officer having deserted them, River, Ham and Joe valiantly continue their whataboutismistic last stand of the DJT apology tour.

I agree. First time I watched the US women play, the speed of the game and their skill level exceeded my expectations, so I watch it whenever it's on. Conversely, I think women's basketball is excruciating to watch.
