Saw the Royals strike out twice with runner on third in the 8th, losing by one. Thought it was over. Two very bad at bats.

If you bend over backwards long enough,
eventually you'll fall down.

The Royals seem like a bunch of good guys. Happy for them that they were able to overcome the deficit and their own manager.

The best game I've watched in a long time. I didn't know you were allowed to play baseball like the Royals play in the AL. I'm pulling for them to lose in the WS to the Nats.

If memory serves, the KC manager used to coach for the Richmond Braves. I too don't understand how you can pull Shields there.

And how about the kid from college with 13 minor league appearances stepping up huge? He played in the College WS this year (TCU I think).
With their Cap’n and Chief Intelligence Officer having deserted them, River, Ham and Joe valiantly continue their whataboutismistic last stand of the DJT apology tour.

Great game. Almost made me forget they were using the abomination that is the DH. Almost.

I actually favor the DH. Nothing worse than watching a pitcher try to hit.

There are far worse things. Can't wait for the Royals to make the WS and have Ned Yost's head explode trying to figure out how to do a double switch.

9 players is a baseball team. 10 players is a softball team.

I think the one game playoff is stupid. Just play a series. If you have to, shorten the regular season to two million games so that you can squeeze it in before cold weather hits.
My women clients think I'm so sweet.
