It's only fitting that the greatest city in the world,

hosts the greatest marathon in the world.

All BS aside, if you have ever run a marathon, and want to run another one, then NYC should be on your bucket list. The city does a really good job hosting it, and it truly is unlike any other marathon that I've witnessed.

What does it take to qualify for it? I've only done one full and my time sucked. But I think the NY and Boston marathons would be awesome to do.

What does it take to qualify for it? I've only done one full and my time sucked. But I think the NY and Boston marathons would be awesome to do.
I'll find out. Boston is smaller, and more elite. They are making it easier to qualify for NYC, and you can buy your way in via charitable donation (NTTIAWWT).

Thanks. I figure I have maybe two more fulls left in me. It took me a good 2 months before I felt "normal" after my first one. Some advice, don't wait until your 54 to start running.
