Yosemite
Took the kids to Yosemite for spring break this week. Rented a boat and cabin on Bass Lake. Kids and wife had a great time.

I had not been to Yosemite in 25 years. Still incredible.[emoji2]

Wow those pictures look incredible. Sounds like a lot of fun. What's the age range of kids?Bay_area_Hokie wrote:

Re: Yosemite
I'm actually in Death Valley right now - I bet there was a lot of snow in Yosemite (at least driving over to Mono Lake, if that's even open). I like the high Sierra portions best, so I'm usually in those sorts of places after Labor Day, although you don't get waterfalls like this time of year.
Death Valley is fairly warm right now. Sun is intense, even if it's only like 85 here in Furnace Creek. Mrs. Poly and I got baked on a hike through Gower Gulch this morning.

I'm about a decade behind you but I can't wait to do something like that. And twins, wow, that must have been a tiring first year.Bay_area_Hokie wrote:12, 12(twins) and 9. Is that the Half Dome in the background? Or El Capitan?Bay_area_Hokie wrote:Took the kids to Yosemite for spring break this week. Rented a boat and cabin on Bass Lake. Kids and wife had a great time.

Re: Yosemite
El Capitan is on the left. Half Dome is all the way in the back, kinda center right-ish.Baltimore Hokie wrote:Is that the Half Dome in the background?
