Re: Reports of explosion, shots fired near Champs Elysee, Pa
I'm in Paris about 3/4 of a mile from the Champs attending the Paris Airshow. Security is tight and it's 92 F here today. Haven't heard anything about this yet.
I made sure we arranged private shuttles for our employees to and from LeBourget. If you take the metro, you go right through a rough neighborhood. At the end, you stand in a queue to get on a bus to go the last mile to the airfield. I didn't want anyone standing out waiting for the bus with 400 other people. To inviting of a target for lunatics.

Sounds like an armed person in a vehicle rammed a police van and was taken out.

It truly is amazing how this city has changed for the worse over the last 4 years.

You ever make it to Versailles? They make great Bourbon there. (Woodford Reserve)Major Kong wrote:I've been to Paris and London, KY many times.

With their Cap’n and Chief Intelligence Officer having deserted them, River, Ham and Joe valiantly continue their whataboutismistic last stand of the DJT apology tour.

It quickly became apparent to us that we were mispronouncing the name of the town.Major Kong wrote:Certainlyip_law-hokie wrote:You ever make it to Versailles? They make great Bourbon there. (Woodford Reserve)

WR is one of the better distillery tours. And I do like their Bourbon.
